About QuickTools

QuickTools is a set of free online tools for everyday tasks — converting an image, merging a few PDFs, counting words, working out a mortgage payment. No accounts, no watermarks, no waiting for an upload bar.

Your files stay on your device

Almost every tool here runs entirely in your browser using your own device’s processor. Your files are never transmitted to us, which means there is no upload delay, no file size cap, and nothing for us to store, lose or hand over. You can disconnect from the internet after a tool page loads and it will still work.

A small number of tools genuinely cannot work this way — compressing a PDF means re-encoding the images inside it, which needs a codec no browser exposes. Those tools carry a notice at the top of the page saying so, and the file is deleted the instant your download is ready: processed in memory, never written to disk, never backed up, never read by anyone. We would rather flag the exception loudly than let it quietly hollow out the promise we make everywhere else.

How this site is funded

Advertising, and occasionally affiliate links on the financial calculators. We label affiliate links wherever they appear. We do not use interstitials, pop-ups or auto-playing video, because they make a utility site worse to use and we would rather you came back.

Who runs it

QuickTools is owned and operated by Eruck Technologies Inc., a technology company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at hello@myquicktools.io, and we answer every email.

We are not affiliated with any of the software vendors, lenders or government bodies mentioned on the site, and nobody pays us to recommend one result over another. Where a page carries an affiliate link, it says so on the page.

Corrections

The financial calculators follow published Canadian rules — semi-annual compounding under the Interest Act, CMHC premium bands, minimum down payment tiers and the B-20 stress test. Rules change, and we may get something wrong. If you spot an error, email hello@myquicktools.io and we will fix it — see the contact page for what is most useful to include.
